Security awareness training – key elements
KnowBe4 cyber security training has five core elements.
Baseline testing
- Baseline testing allows you to assess your users through a free simulated phishing attack.
- Start your test for up to 100 users immediately.
- Customise the phishing test template based on your environment.
- Choose the landing page your users see after they click.
- Show users the red flags they missed.
- Receive your results within 24 hours of the test, comparing your business to others in your industry along with charts to share with management.
User training
- KnowBe4 provides the world’s largest library of security–awareness training content, including interactive modules, videos, games, posters and newsletters, with over 1,000 items continually updated. A dedicated compliance library is available as an optional add-on.
- Basic training modules range from 5 to 45 minutes in length and focus on helping employees understand the mechanisms of spam, phishing, spear–phishing, malware, ransomware and social engineering, as well as how apply this knowledge in daily activities.
- Training comes in three levels, all web–based, on demand and appropriate to your business size and type. Training is fully interactive, fun and engaging, with gamification allowing your users to compete against their peers on leaderboards and earn badges.
- Training combines common traps, live demonstration videos, short comprehension tests and scenario-based “danger-zone” exercises, all available in over 30 languages. Trainees also receive unique job-aids such as checklists on what to watch out for and how to block attacks.
