Net Zero Policy

Our Commitment to Achieving Net Zero by 2035

At CyberOne, we are committed to achieving net zero by 2035. We recognise the importance of taking meaningful steps toward reducing our carbon footprint while balancing operational efficiency. Our strategy includes the following key initiatives:

1. Reducing Energy Consumption

We are transitioning to renewable energy sources for our office spaces, optimising energy efficiency through LED lighting and smart thermostats, using environmental heating and cooling wherever possible and implementing a strict “switch-off” policy to reduce unnecessary energy use.

2. Implementing Sustainable IT & Digital Practices

We are optimising our use of cloud computing to minimise data centre emissions, extending the lifespan of IT equipment through refurbishment and recycling and prioritising suppliers that align with sustainability goals.

3. Encouraging Sustainable Business Travel & Remote Work

We are prioritising virtual meetings to reduce unnecessary travel, promoting a green travel policy that encourages sustainable transportation options and supports remote and hybrid work to minimise commuting emissions.

4. Embedding Sustainability in Procurement & Supply Chain

We are actively working with vendors that share our commitment to sustainability, reducing single-use plastics in our operations and selecting office supplies with minimal environmental impact. Our largest vendor and supplier is Microsoft and we are proud to work with a company that has such strong Net Zero goals.

5. Engaging Employees in Sustainability

We are fostering a culture of sustainability by training our employees, establishing an internal sustainability committee and encouraging eco-friendly habits such as cycling to work, waste reduction and mindful energy use.

6. Monitoring Progress & Continuous Improvement

We are establishing interim reduction targets, aiming to regularly report on our progress and refine our strategies to align with evolving best practices in sustainability. Our approach includes ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.

Achieving net zero by 2035 is an ambitious goal, but we are committed to taking concrete steps to reduce our environmental impact. By integrating sustainability into our operations and decision-making processes, we aim to create a positive and lasting impact.

Would you like to join us on this journey? We welcome ideas and partnerships that can help accelerate our path to Net Zero.
